Train Warp

Teaching Warp how you work, and managing what it remembers.

Q: What is AI Training?

A: AI Training is warpSpeed's personalisation feature. You have a conversation with the AI about yourself (preferences, goals, habits, interests) and warpSpeed saves what matters to make every future AI response more relevant to you. Open it from the Tools menu in the bottom bar. See What Is AI Training?.

Q: How do I train the assistant using my voice?

A: Open the AI Training screen and tap the "Just talk freely" mic card at the bottom. Speak freely, warpSpeed listens and automatically sends your message when you go silent. The listening screen shows an animated ring and "I'm listening, [your name]". See Training by Voice.

Q: How do I type a message to train the assistant?

A: Open the AI Training screen and tap the keyboard icon (top-right) to toggle the text input. Type your message and tap the green Send button. See Training by Typing.

Q: What are conversation starters in AI Training?

A: Conversation starters are three pre-written prompt cards on the AI Training entry screen: Preferences ("I prefer responses that are..."), Professional or personal ("My long term goals are"), and Likes or dislikes ("On my weekends, I like to..."). Tap one to pre-fill the text input and kick off that topic. See Training by Typing.

Q: How do I see what the assistant has learned about me?

A: From the AI Training screen, tap the profile icon (top-right) to open Warp's knowledge of me. It shows all saved memories organised by category (preferences, goals, interests, etc.). See Warp's knowledge of me.

Q: How do I edit or delete a memory in Warp's knowledge of me?

A: Open Warp's knowledge of me, find the memory card, and tap the ⋯ icon. Choose Edit to update the text (a panel slides up with a pre-filled input), or Delete to remove it (a confirmation dialog appears). See Warp's knowledge of me.

Q: How does what Warp has learned about me affect its responses?

A: Memories saved in what Warp knows about you are used as context across the whole app, Warp tailors its responses to your communication style, Email AI factors in your tone preferences, and Task AI uses your working habits when generating descriptions and estimates. The more you share, the more personalised every response becomes. See How Personalisation Works.
