Home

The screen the app opens on, and what each part of it is telling you.

Q: What is on my home screen?

A: A greeting, then Today's summary, Today's schedule, Tasks, Your Workspace (priority email and unread conversations), Here's how I can help, and a Video Guide. The order never changes. See Your Home Screen.

Q: What is the sentence at the top of Home telling me?

A: It combines how many tasks are due, how many priority emails you have, who has been chasing you, and the soonest date coming up from your mail, into one line with the key values in bold. Anything with nothing to report drops out. See Reading Today's Summary.

Q: Why does Home say I am all caught up when my inbox is full?

A: Home counts priority email, not everything unread. Mail that does not need anything from you does not count. See Reading Today's Summary.

Q: Why is a task missing from my home screen?

A: Home shows only tasks due today or already overdue. A task due tomorrow appears under Coming up once today is clear, and undated tasks never appear at all. You may also have hidden it. See Tasks on Home.

Q: Why is an event missing from Today's schedule?

A: Events you declined are left out on purpose, and a timed event drops off once it has ended. Tentative events are still shown, just styled differently. See Today's Schedule on Home.

Q: What does "Happening now" mean on an event?

A: That event is running right now. Everything else shows a countdown instead, like In 25 min. These update by themselves once a minute. See Today's Schedule on Home.

Q: How do I get rid of something on Home I do not care about?

A: Dismiss it. All-day events and task rows can be hidden, which removes them from Home without declining the event or completing the task. See Hiding Items on Home.

Q: Something I hid has come back. Why?

A: Hidden items are remembered against the day they were for, so an item that moves to a different day reappears. Hiding today's stand-up is not meant to suppress next week's. See Hiding Items on Home.

Q: Do my hidden items follow me to another device?

A: No. Hiding is stored on the device you are using and against the account you are signed in to. See Hiding Items on Home.

Q: What do the two tiles under Your Workspace count?

A: The first counts priority emails, the second counts unread conversations rather than messages, so one busy thread counts once. See The Your Workspace Tiles.

Q: Why does Home ask me to connect my calendar when I already have one?

A: It should not. A connect prompt appears only when the service genuinely is not connected; a connected calendar with a clear day shows Your schedule is clear instead. If you are seeing a connect prompt with a calendar connected, check the connection under Integrated services. See Today's Schedule on Home.

Q: What is the "Can I assist?" button?

A: It opens Ask Warp, so you can act on whatever the summary just told you. See Reading Today's Summary.

Q: What does a number with a plus after it mean, like 50+?

A: There are at least that many. The app stops counting past a point rather than showing a figure it cannot stand behind. See Reading Today's Summary.

Q: Are the four suggestions on Home personalised to me?

A: No, they are the same four for everyone: a way in rather than a recommendation. The personal part of Home is the summary at the top. See AI Suggestions and Video Guides on Home.
