Setting Task Priority

What it does

Priority flags a task as High, Medium, or Low importance. High and Medium priority tasks surface in the dedicated High Priority view so urgent work is always visible.

How to use it

  1. Open a task (or create a new one).
  2. Tap the Priority section to expand it.
  3. Choose one of three options:
  4. High: displayed as a HIGH badge on the task card.
  5. Medium: displayed as a MEDIUM badge on the task card.
  6. Low: no badge shown on the card.
  7. Tap Save to confirm.

Where priority appears

  • Task card: a priority badge (HIGH / MEDIUM) is shown on the task card in the list. Low priority tasks have no badge.
  • High Priority view: the High Priority filter view in the side menu shows all tasks with HIGH or MEDIUM priority. Low priority tasks are excluded.
  • Sort by Priority: when sorting, tasks can be ordered by priority level (handled in Sort/Filter).

Tips & shortcuts

  • Use High for tasks with real consequences if they slip. Use Medium for things that matter but have some flex.
  • Leave Low (or no priority) for tasks you want to capture but won't act on this week.
  • Priority combines well with Due Date; the AI uses both when answering questions like "What should I work on today?"
