Tagging a Task¶
What it does¶
The Tags section lets you attach keyword labels to a task for categorisation and filtering. Tags are consistent across the app (the same tag set is shared with Email, Notes, and Calendar) so you can filter across modules by topic.
How to use it¶
- Open a task and tap the Tags section to expand it.
- Tap the tag input field and type a tag name, or select from existing tags.
- Tap a tag to add it. Multiple tags can be added to a single task.
- To remove a tag, tap the × on its chip.
- Tap Save to confirm.
AI tag suggestions¶
The AI can suggest relevant tags based on the task's title and description. When suggestions are available, they appear below the tag input as tappable chips; tap one to apply it.
Where tags appear¶
- Task card: tags are listed below the task title on each card in the list.
- Filter by Tags: in the Sort/Filter panel, use the Tags filter to show only tasks with a specific tag.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Use consistent tag vocabulary across Email, Calendar, and Tasks so the AI can surface related content across modules (e.g. tagging a task and an email both with "Q3 Budget").
- Tags are case-sensitive; "budget" and "Budget" are two different tags. Pick a convention and stick to it.
