The Your Workspace Tiles¶
What it does¶
Your Workspace is the pair of tiles partway down Home. One covers email, the other covers messages. Between them they answer "is anyone waiting on me" without opening either app area.
The email tile¶
It counts your priority emails: the mail Warp has flagged as actually needing you. It is not a count of everything unread, so a full inbox of newsletters does not inflate it.
- With priority mail waiting, the tile shows the number and Priority emails, with "Review your priorities." Tapping it opens the Email Priorities screen.
- With none, it shows All caught up and "No priority emails.", with an Open inbox button. That button opens your ordinary Inbox tab, since there are no priorities to review.
- With no email connected, it shows Connect email and "See your inbox here.", with a Connect Email button that opens Integrated services.
The messages tile¶
It counts unread conversations, not individual messages, so one busy thread counts once. It also shows up to three avatars of the people involved.
- With unread chats, it shows the number and Unread conversations. Tapping it opens Messenger.
- With none, it shows All caught up and "No unread chats.", with a Start a new chat button.
There is no connect step for messages: Messenger is built in, so an empty tile only ever means you are up to date.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- The email tile shows the same number as the Email Priorities screen. Snooze or archive something there and this drops immediately.
- The avatars on the messages tile are the people you are talking to. You will never see yourself or Warp among them, and nobody appears twice.
- Once unread conversations reach 20, the tile shows 20+ rather than an exact figure.
- The two tiles load separately. If one says Couldn't load email or Couldn't load messages, tap to retry it; the other keeps working.
- A tile showing All caught up is a good state, not an error. You are only asked to connect something when it genuinely is not connected.
