Note Attachments¶
What it does¶
Notes support two kinds of attachments: uploaded files (documents, images, audio, video) and module links (cross-module references to existing emails, tasks, or calendar events). Both types appear on the note card in the list and inside the note editor.
How to use it¶
- Open a note in the editor.
- Tap the attachments icon (paperclip/document icon) in the toolbar.
- The attachment picker opens. Choose between file upload or linking an existing module item.
- To upload a file: select a file from your device. Supported types: PDF, image, video, audio, Word (.doc), spreadsheet/Excel.
- To link an email, task, or calendar event: select the module and choose the specific item. The item's title appears as a chip on the note card.
- To remove an attachment, scroll below the note body to the AddedNoteAttachments section and tap the remove control next to the item.

Tips & shortcuts¶
- Link a note to a task or calendar event to keep context together; the link is bidirectional and appears on the linked item too.
- The first attachment always appears on the note card, put the most important reference first.
- Tags and attachments share the bottom row of the note card; attachments appear on the left, tags on the right.
