Pinning a Note

What it does

Pinned notes show a push-pin icon next to the title on the note card and have a light purple background (if no colour is set). Pinning helps you keep important notes visually distinct.

How to use it

Pin or unpin a note (swipe): 1. Swipe right on a note card in the Notes list. 2. The left action button appears, tap Pin to pin the note, or Unpin if the note is already pinned.

Bulk pin or unpin: 3. Long-press any note (or tap ⋯ → Select Notes) to enter multi-select mode. 4. Tap the notes you want to pin or unpin. 5. Tap the pin icon in the selection toolbar. If all selected notes are already pinned, the action unpins them; otherwise it pins them all.

Visual indicators on pinned notes: - A push-pin icon (rotated 45°, small, grey) appears next to the title. - Light purple background on pinned notes that have no colour applied. - Notes with a colour retain that colour background regardless of pin state.

Tips & shortcuts

  • Swipe actions are the fastest way to pin/unpin a note without opening it.
  • If you select a mix of pinned and unpinned notes for a bulk action, the result is that all are pinned, to bulk-unpin, ensure all selected notes are already pinned.
