Colour-Coding a Task¶
What it does¶
The Colour section lets you apply a visual colour label to a task card. Colours are decorative and organisational, useful for grouping tasks by project, theme, or urgency at a glance.
How to use it¶
- Open a task and tap the Colour section to expand it.
- A palette of 11 colours is displayed as circular swatches. Tap any colour to select it.
- The task card background updates immediately to reflect the chosen colour.
- Tap Save to confirm.

Tips & shortcuts¶
- Colours are visual only; they don't filter or sort tasks. Use Tags if you need filterable categories.
- A consistent colour system (e.g. Cloud Blue = client work, Fresh Mint = personal) can help you scan your task list at a glance.
- To remove a colour, tap the empty/default swatch if available, or select No colour.
