Quick Respond in Chat¶
What it does¶
Quick Respond generates an AI-suggested reply to any message in a chat. You choose a tone, preview the result, and insert it into the composer with one tap. AI credits are consumed.
How to use it¶
- Long-press a message in the chat thread.
- Tap Quick Respond (flash-outline icon) from the primary actions.
- The Quick Respond modal opens, header: "Quick Respond" with the warpSpeed Eye AI icon.
- Select a tone:

- The AI generates a suggested reply.
- Rate the suggestion using the thumbs-up / thumbs-down (
ThumbsReport) control. - Tap Insert to place the suggestion into the message composer.
- Edit if needed, then tap Send.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Tap the tone area to expand or collapse the tone picker (slide animation).
- Use Concise when you want a brief acknowledgement; use Professional for business-context chats.
- Quick Respond generates a reply to the specific message you long-pressed, useful in long group chats where context matters.
