Navigating Your Task List

What it does

The Tasks screen organises your tasks into focused views (from a full list to smart filters like High Priority and Due Today) so you can always find the right tasks to work on without scrolling through everything at once.

How to use it

  1. Tap the Tasks tab in the bottom navigation.
  2. Your task list opens. By default you'll see your To Do List: all incomplete tasks.
  3. To switch to a different view, tap the Customise Task List button (panel/menu icon) to open the side menu.
  4. The Customise Task List panel shows these views:
  5. All Tasks: every task regardless of status.
  6. Completed: tasks you've marked as done.
  7. To Do List: all incomplete tasks (default view).
  8. High Priority: tasks flagged as HIGH or MEDIUM priority.
  9. Overdue Tasks: tasks whose due date has passed.
  10. Due Today: tasks due on the current day.
  11. Tomorrow's Tasks: tasks due the next day.
  12. Archive: tasks you've archived.
  13. Folders: your tasks grouped into folders you have made. See Organising Notes and Tasks into Folders.
  14. Bin: recently deleted tasks (kept for 30 days before permanent removal).
  15. Tap any view to switch to it. The selected view is marked with a filled radio button.

Tips & shortcuts

  • Start each day in Due Today to see exactly what needs doing, nothing more, nothing less.
  • High Priority only shows HIGH and MEDIUM priority tasks. LOW priority tasks are excluded, use All Tasks to see everything.
  • Deleted tasks sit in the Bin for 30 days before being permanently removed. Restore them from there if needed.
