Delete or Deactivate Account¶
What it does¶
warpSpeed offers two ways to leave: deactivating (a temporary, fully reversible pause) or deleting (a permanent closure with a 30-day recovery window). Both options are available from My Profile.
How to use it¶
- Go to User Centre → tap Edit profile (My Profile) → scroll to the bottom of the action items list and tap Delete or Deactivate Account (red).
The opening screen shows: "If you are looking to leave warpSpeed, we have two options you can take. You can deactivate your account but recover your account or delete it permanently."
Deactivate your account (temporary): 2. Tap Deactivate. Deactivating temporarily disables your account: - Your profile becomes hidden from other users - All your data and settings are preserved - You can reactivate at any time by logging back in with the same credentials
Deactivation is completely reversible with no data loss.
Delete your account permanently: 3. Tap Delete. The deletion flow begins with a multi-step feedback survey:
Step 1, Reason: Select why you are leaving: - I'm leaving temporarily - It is not helping my productivity - Safety or privacy concerns - Trouble getting started/connecting apps - Issues with app performance or bugs - Features I need are missing - Another reason
Step 2, Feedback (if a specific reason is selected): Enter free-text detail in the "We'd love to know more" field.
Step 3, Confirmation: - With feedback: tap "Delete Account Permanently" - Without feedback: tap "Delete Account"
- After confirming, your account enters a 30-day grace period. You can cancel deletion by logging back in during this window; your account will be fully restored.
- After 30 days, deletion is permanent and all data is removed.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Deactivate, don't delete, if you're just taking a break; your data is fully preserved and recovery is instant by logging back in.
- The 30-day recovery window means deletion is not truly instant. If you change your mind immediately after confirming, log back in right away to cancel it.
