Working with Warp's Responses

What it does

Below every answer is a row of controls: copy it, export it as a document, have it read aloud, rate it, and open the sources behind it.

Copy

  1. Tap the copy icon below a response.
  2. Choose:
  3. Copy message copies that answer. Confirmed with "Message Copied".
  4. Copy conversation copies the whole thread. Confirmed with "Conversation Messages Copied".

Export

  1. Tap the export icon below a response.
  2. Choose Export Answer for that one answer, or Export Full Chat for the whole conversation.
  3. The Export Options screen opens. See Exporting a Conversation.

Listen

Tap the volume icon to have the answer read aloud by your device. The icon becomes a mute icon while it plays; tap again to stop.

Rate

  • Thumbs up marks a response as helpful and turns amber.
  • Thumbs down turns red and opens a report form so you can say what went wrong. See Reporting a Warp Response.
  • Only one applies per answer: choosing one hides the other.

Sources

A Sources button appears below the answer only when Warp cited your data. Tap it to see what it drew on. See Viewing Sources for a Warp Response.

Tips & shortcuts

  • Copy conversation before starting a new chat is a quick way to keep a long session as plain text.
  • Export Answer is the fastest way to turn one answer into a document you can send to someone.
  • Rating answers is the main signal the team gets about where Warp is going wrong, and thumbs down alone is enough; the report form is only if you want to explain.
