Proofreading an Email with AI

What it does

The AI Proofread tool scans your email body for spelling, grammar, and clarity issues and surfaces suggestions you can review and apply, so nothing embarrassing slips through before you hit send.

How to use it

1. In the Draft screen, finish writing your email body.
2. Tap the warpSpeed Eye icon in the editor toolbar. (AI-powered, Warp)
3. Tap Proofread.
4. The AI analyses your email and returns a list of suggestions. Each suggestion highlights the original text and proposes a correction.
5. Review each suggestion and tap to accept or skip it.
6. When all suggestions have been reviewed, a "Proofread complete" notification confirms the check is done.
7. If no issues are found, you'll see "No suggestions found": your email is ready to send.

Tips & shortcuts

• Run Proofread as the last step before sending, after you've made any Tone Change or Rewrite edits, since those change the text.
• Proofread works on the email body only, not the subject line, double-check your subject separately.
• The tool checks your email even when replying or forwarding, but it analyses only the content you've written, not the quoted original.
