Tags and other things that work the same way across the app.

Q: How do I add tags to an email, task, note, or chat?

A: Tap the Tags or Add Tags action on any item to open the Tags screen. Search for existing tags or create new ones, then tap Save. See Tags.

Q: How do I get warpSpeed to suggest tags automatically?

A: Open the Tags screen on a supported item (email, task, note, or chat) and tap "Auto Generate" (the AI icon button). Warp will analyse the item's content and suggest relevant tags. This uses AI credits. See Tags.

Q: How do I remove a tag from an item?

A: Open the Tags screen, find the tag in the Selected tags section at the bottom, and tap the × on its chip. Then tap Save. See Tags.

Q: How do I group my notes or tasks into folders?

A: Open Notes or Tasks and switch to the Folders tab. The add button there offers Note Folder or Task Folder. Once a folder exists, you put a note or task into it from that item's own editor. See Organising Notes and Tasks into Folders.

Q: What is the difference between a folder and a tag?

A: A folder is one place an item lives, and folders are separate for notes and for tasks. Tags cut across everything, so one item can carry several and you can find things across modules with them. See Organising Notes and Tasks into Folders.
