Message Actions
What it does
Long-pressing a message opens an action menu. Available actions depend on whether the message is text, media, or a link; and whether it was sent by you or someone else.
How to use it
- Long-press any message in the chat thread to open the action menu.
- For text messages, the primary actions are:

- For media messages (images, video, audio): Forward, Find in Chat, Share, Download, Delete.
- For link messages: Open Link, Copy, Forward, Find in Chat, Share, Download, Delete.
Tips & shortcuts
- Destructive actions (Delete) are always shown in red in the action menu.
- Find in Chat is available from both message actions and the Shared Media screen; it jumps to the original message position in the thread.
- You can only Edit or Delete your own messages; these options are hidden on messages from others.
