Contact Details¶
What it does¶
The Contact Details screen is the full profile view for a single contact. It surfaces all stored information, personal info, contact methods, addresses, labels, notes, and a live activity feed of recent emails, events, and tasks shared with this contact.
How to use it¶
- Tap any contact card in the Contacts list to open their details screen.
- The profile header shows the contact's profile picture (80×80, circular, tap to view full-size), full name, and initials avatar if no photo exists.
- Scroll down to view sections. Sections only appear if the contact has data for them:
| Section | What's shown |
|---|---|
| Phone | Each number with its type, tap to expand for Call / SMS / Copy actions |
| Each address with its type, tap to expand for email/task/event/filter/copy actions + recent email history | |
| Address | Each address, tap to expand for Maps / Task location / Event location / Copy actions |
| Labels | Label chips (bordered pill style) |
| Birthday | Formatted date |
| Company | Company name |
| Notes | Rich-text notes attached to this contact; tap to open in full editor |
| Events & Tasks | Expandable sections for Recent Events and Recent Tasks |
| Chat | Link to direct chat (WS contacts only) |
- Tap ⋯ (top-right) to access Share contact or Delete contact (red).
- Tap the pencil icon in the header to open the contact form and edit details.
- If a duplicate is detected, a warning banner appears at the top, tap it to resolve.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Tap a phone number or email address to expand it; this reveals the quick action buttons (Call, SMS, Copy, etc.) without navigating away.
- The Notes section renders HTML; tap it to open a full-page editor for richer editing.
- Sections with no data are hidden entirely; a contact with only a name and phone will show just those sections.
