Managing Connected Calendars

What it does

The Calendar Side Menu is the control centre for managing which calendars are visible and which accounts are connected. From here you can show/hide individual calendars, add new accounts, and access Calendar Settings.

How to use it

Opening the Calendar Side Menu

Tap the menu icon (hamburger/lines icon) in the top-left of the Calendar tab.

Showing and hiding calendars

The side menu shows a list of all connected calendars with checkboxes. Each calendar shows: - Its name (e.g. "warpSpeed Calendar" or the account email for imported calendars). - Its colour indicator. - Its email address (if multiple accounts are connected).

Tap any calendar's checkbox to toggle it on (visible on the calendar grid) or off (hidden). Hidden calendars don't show their events, useful for focusing on one account without deleting the connection.

Adding a new calendar

  1. In the Calendar Side Menu, tap Add New Calendar.
  2. This opens the Integrations page in User Centre.
  3. Select the calendar provider to connect (e.g. Google Calendar, Outlook).
  4. Complete the sign-in flow for that provider.
  5. The new calendar appears in the calendar side menu and its events populate the grid.

Calendar Settings

  1. In the Calendar Side Menu, tap Calendar Settings (or find it in the ⋯ actions menu from the calendar top bar).
  2. Calendar Settings lets you configure per-calendar preferences such as colours, default event duration, notification preferences, and other account-level settings.

Top-bar shortcut (Integrated services)

The person-add icon in the top-right of the event detail / calendar header is a shortcut to User Centre → Integrated services, taking you directly to the calendar integrations page to add accounts.

Tips & shortcuts

  • If you have a personal and a work Google Calendar connected, you can quickly hide one with a single tap to focus on just the work schedule, without disconnecting the account.
  • Each connected calendar account gets a colour you can customise, tap the colour swatch next to its name in the side menu.
  • The warpSpeed Calendar is the default internal calendar for events you create within warpSpeed when no external calendar is selected.
