Group Chats

What it does

Group chats let you message multiple warpSpeed users at once. You create a group by selecting members and giving it a name. Existing groups can have new members added from the group details screen.

How to use it

Create a new group chat: 1. From the Chats tab, tap the floating new-chat button → tap the Group option. 2. A group name input field appears, enter the group name (required). 3. Search for and tap each member to select them. Selected members appear as circular profile images in a horizontal scroll row; tap the × to remove a member. 4. Tap the ✓ (checkmark) button (enabled only when name is filled and at least one member selected) to create the group and open the new chat.

Validation errors: - No group name: "Group name is required" - No members selected: "At least 1 user must be selected to create the group"

Add members to an existing group: 5. Tap the group profile picture in the chat header to open the group details screen. 6. Tap Add members to open the new chat screen in add_members mode; existing members are pre-selected and cannot be removed here. 7. Tap new members to add, then confirm. 8. Success: "Members added successfully".

Tips & shortcuts

• The ✓ button stays disabled until both a group name is typed and at least one member is selected; both are required.
• You can view current members and group settings anytime by tapping the group profile picture in the chat header.
