Creating a Note¶
What it does¶
A note has a title and a rich-text body. Creating one is immediate, tap the button, start typing, and warpSpeed auto-saves as you go. You don't need to tap Save.
How to use it¶
- On the Notes list, tap the create button (pencil icon, bottom-right), or tap Create a new note from the empty state screen.
- The note editor opens with an empty title field focused.
- Type a title (required; the note won't save without one).
- Tap the body area (labelled "Add Description") and type your note content.
- warpSpeed auto-saves your note after 1.5 seconds of inactivity. A brief "Saved" label appears in the header to confirm.
- Tap any note card on the Notes list to open and edit an existing note, all edits auto-save.
Note editor layout:
| Area | Description |
|---|---|
| Title input | Top field, plain text, required |
| Body / Description | Rich-text editor below the title, supports formatting, headings, lists, links |
| Toolbar | Fixed bar above the keyboard with formatting and attachment controls |
| Previous version panel | Appears below the body after a Tidy Up; shows the pre-AI version |
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Notes require a title; you can't save a note with a blank title field.
- Auto-save fires 1.5 seconds after the last change; a "Saved" label confirms it. Save states:
saving/saved/unsaved/error. - The first character of each new paragraph is auto-capitalised.
