Notes Overview

What it does

Notes is warpSpeed's long-form writing space. It's a full rich-text editor with AI tools, cross-module attachment support, colour coding, tags, and pinning. Notes sync across devices and can be linked to emails, tasks, and calendar events.

How to use it

  1. Tap the Notes tab to open the Notes list. Two tabs sit at the top: All, the full list, and Folders, where notes are grouped into folders you have made.
  2. Each note card shows the title (bold, 1 line), a 1-line content snippet, the first attached item with icon, up to 2 tag chips, and a date (time if today; full date if older). Notes with a colour show a coloured left-edge stripe.
  3. Tap a note card to open and edit it.
  4. Tap the 🔍 search icon (top-right) to open the search bar and find notes by title or content.
  5. Tap ⋯ (top-right) to open the Options menu, sort notes, toggle Group by Date, or switch to Archive / Bin view.
  6. Tap the ✎ create button (pencil icon, bottom-right) to create a new note.

Empty states: - "Tap the New Note button below to capture your thoughts and unleash your creativity.": no notes yet - "You have no archived notes to show.": Archive view is empty - "You have no deleted notes to show.": Bin view is empty - "There are no notes to show": search/filter returned nothing

Tips & shortcuts

  • Enable Group by Date (⋯ → Group by Date) to organise notes under date headings (Today / Yesterday / older dates) rather than a flat list.
  • Long-press any note, or tap ⋯ → Select Notes, to enter multi-select mode for bulk pin, archive, or delete.
  • The Archive and Bin views are mutually exclusive; only one can be active at a time. Return to all notes via ⋯ → All Notes.
  • Switch to the Folders tab to group notes rather than scroll them. The add button there offers Note Folder alongside Note. See Organising Notes and Tasks into Folders.
  • The list groups by when each note was last updated, so notes you have just worked on stay together at the top.
  • Moving over from Google Keep? You can bring your existing notes across in one go. See Importing Your Notes from Google Keep.
