Tags¶
What it does¶
Tags are a cross-module labelling system in warpSpeed. You can apply one or more tags to emails, tasks, notes, contacts, and chats to organise and find items across the app. Tags are created once and reused across all modules.
How to use it¶
- Open the Tags screen by tapping a "Tags" or "Add Tags" action on an item (available from the email detail menu, task actions, note toolbar, or message long-press actions). The screen appears as a full-page modal.
- The Tags screen operates in one of two modes:
| Mode | Header title | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| crud | "Tagging" | Add, create, edit, and remove tags on an item |
| filter | "Associated Tags" | View and filter by tags associated with items |
Add an existing tag: 3. In the Popular section, tap any tag chip to add it to your selection. The list is paginated, scroll to load more.
Create a new tag:
4. Type a name in the search/create input bar at the top. Submit to create it (the # prefix is stripped automatically). Available in crud mode when no tags exist yet.
Generate tags with AI: 5. Tap Auto Generate (warpSpeed AI icon + label) to let the AI suggest relevant tags based on the item's content. 6. Generated tags appear in the "AI Generated Tags:" section as tappable chips. You can edit the text of any tag before adding it. 7. Tap the ThumbsReport button beside Auto Generate to rate the suggestions. 8. AI tag generation consumes credits, when depleted, the upgrade prompt appears instead.
Review and remove selected tags: 9. Selected tags appear at the bottom of the screen as chips. Tap × on any chip to remove it.
Save: 10. Tap Save to apply the selected tags to the item. Tap Clear All to deselect all tags. 11. When tagging multiple emails at once (bulk mode), Save applies the same tag set to all selected items in one operation.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Tags created on one module (e.g. notes) are available on all others (e.g. email, tasks), build your tag vocabulary once and reuse it everywhere.
- Use Auto Generate to quickly tag a dense email thread or note without having to think up labels manually, then refine the suggestions before saving.
