Filtering Calendar Events

What it does

The Calendar Filter narrows the events shown in your calendar view by attendee, date range, or tag. Useful for finding all events with a specific person, reviewing events in a period, or isolating project-tagged events.

How to use it

  1. From the Calendar tab, tap the Filter icon (funnel-outline) in the top-right control bar.
  2. The filter panel opens. Configure any combination of:

Attendees Search for a person by name or email. The calendar shows only events where that person is a guest (or the organiser). You can filter by multiple attendees.

Date Range Set a start and end date to show only events that fall within that range. Useful for week or project reviews.

Tags Select one or more tags to show only events carrying those tags.

  1. Tap Apply (or equivalent) to apply the filters. The calendar updates to show only matching events; non-matching events are hidden.
  2. To clear filters, tap Reset or remove each filter individually.

How filtered events appear

  • Filtered events display in a list (timeline) view rather than the standard grid. Each event card shows the event title, date, and time.
  • The timeline view groups events by date with a date column showing month and day number. Today's date is highlighted with a green circle.
  • Empty dates show no entries in the list, events with "No Events" are suppressed from the filtered timeline.

Tips & shortcuts

  • Filter by Attendees to quickly prepare for a 1:1, see every shared event with that person in one list.
  • Combine Date Range + Tags to pull all events for a project in a given sprint window.
  • Filters apply across all visible (non-hidden) calendars; if a calendar is hidden via the side menu, its events won't show even if they match the filter.
