Adding a Location to a Task

What it does

The Location section lets you attach a specific place or address to a task, useful for tasks tied to a physical location (e.g. "Pick up dry cleaning", "Client visit at 42 High Street").

How to use it

  1. Open a task and tap the Location section to expand it.
  2. Tap the location field and type an address or place name.
  3. Select the correct result from the search suggestions.
  4. The location is saved to the task and can be used by the AI when generating descriptions or estimating task context.
  5. Tap Save on the task to confirm.

Tips & shortcuts

  • The AI description generator uses the Location field as additional context; setting a location can improve the quality of AI-generated task descriptions.
  • To remove a location, tap the ✕ on the location chip.

⚠️ Verification needed: Confirm whether tapping a saved location opens a map view, and whether warpSpeed can trigger location-based reminders. Flag for engineering review.
