Recent Events & Tasks from a Contact¶
What it does¶
The Events & Tasks section on a contact's profile shows recent and upcoming shared calendar events and tasks involving this contact. Data is fetched on demand when you expand each section.
How to use it¶
- Open a contact's details screen and scroll to the Events & Tasks section (clipboard-outline icon).
- Tap the Recent Events row to expand it. A loading indicator appears while events are fetched.
- Events display as gradient cards showing the event title, date/time, and a direction icon:
- Future events: purple icon + purple gradient card
- Past events: green icon + green gradient card
- If more than one event exists, a More events link appears at the bottom; tap it to open Calendar filtered to this contact.
- Tap the Recent Tasks row to expand it. Tasks display as gradient cards with title, due date, and a green checkbox icon.
- If more than one task exists, a More tasks link appears; tap it to open Tasks filtered to this contact.
- Tap an expanded row again to collapse it.
Empty states: - "No recent events": no shared events found - "No recent tasks": no shared tasks found
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Tap More events or More tasks to jump directly to the filtered list in Calendar or Tasks, useful for a full history with that contact.
- Events and tasks load on demand; the section doesn't fetch data until you expand it, so the profile opens quickly even for contacts with a long history.
