Notes¶
Writing, organising and sharing notes.
Q: How do I create a new note?
A: Tap the pencil/create button at the bottom-right of the Notes screen. Type a title (required), then tap the body area ("Add Description") to write your content. warpSpeed auto-saves after 1.5 seconds of inactivity, no Save button needed. See Creating a Note.
Q: Does warpSpeed save my note automatically?
A: Yes. Notes auto-save 1.5 seconds after you stop typing. A brief "Saved" label appears in the header to confirm. The only requirement is that the note has a title; a blank title blocks saving. See Creating a Note.
Q: What formatting options are available in notes?
A: The note editor supports headings (H1/H2/H3), bold, italic, underline, unordered and ordered lists, hyperlinks, and font size. Access these through the Aa (text-format) button in the toolbar, which opens the active formats panel. See Rich Text Editing.
Q: What does Tidy Up do to my note?
A: Tidy Up sends your note content to the AI, which restructures, cleans, and rewrites it for clarity. The original version is preserved in a Previous version panel below the note body, tap ⋯ to expand it. Tidy Up can only run once per editing session. See AI Note Tools.
Q: How do I proofread a note with AI?
A: Open the note, tap the warpSpeed Eye in the toolbar, then tap Proofread. The AI checks spelling and grammar and highlights suggestions inline. If nothing is found, a "Proofread complete" notification appears. See AI Note Tools.
Q: How do I pin a note?
A: Swipe right on the note card in the list and tap Pin. Pinned notes show a push-pin icon next to the title and have a light purple background (if no colour is set). Swipe right again → Unpin to remove the pin. See Pinning a Note.
Q: How do I archive a note?
A: Open the note, tap the ⋯ menu (top-right), and tap Archive. The note disappears from the main list. To view archived notes, tap ⋯ → Archived on the Notes screen. To restore, swipe right in Archive view → Unarchive. See Archiving a Note.
Q: How do I permanently delete a note?
A: First, delete the note (swipe left → trash, or ⋯ → Delete Note) to move it to the Bin. Then tap ⋯ → Bin to view it, and either swipe left (trash → Delete on the confirmation dialog) or open the note → ⋯ → Delete Forever. Permanently deleted notes cannot be recovered. See Deleting a Note.
Q: How do I sort or filter my notes?
A: Tap ⋯ → Sort to open the filter panel. Sort by Date created, Date Updated, or Title; order Newest first or Oldest first; filter by Date Range or Tags. Toggle Group by Date in the options menu to group notes under date section headers. See Sort and Filter Notes.
Q: How do I share a note?
A: Open the note, tap ⋯ → Share. The device's native share sheet opens with the note title and content as plain text. See Note Info and Sharing.
