Using Prompt Suggestions¶
What it does¶
Before you have started a conversation, Ask Warp shows an entry screen with example questions on it. They exist to show you what Warp can actually do, and to save you thinking of something from scratch.
How to use it¶
- Open Ask Warp. With no conversation active, the entry screen appears:
- a large "How can I help?" heading
- a card linking through to AI Training, for improving how well Warp knows you
- three animated suggestion cards, typing themselves out and cycling through a pool of pre-written questions
- Watch them cycle, or tap one. Examples include:
- "Tell me my tasks due today."
- "Do I have any meeting clashes today?"
- "Summarise the notes from my last three meetings."
- "Am I free this Friday evening?"
- "Here is an image of my timetable for this weekend. Can you add these as events in my calendar?"
- Tapping a card puts its text in the composer ready to send.
- Or ignore them and type your own at any point.
Tips & shortcuts¶
- Worth browsing even when you already know what you want to ask. They cover things people do not realise Warp can do, particularly the ones spanning several modules at once.
- A suggestion is a starting point, not a fixed phrase. Tap it, then edit it to fit your situation before sending.
- Suggestions only appear before a conversation starts. Once one is under way, type in the composer.
- The AI Training card is a shortcut worth taking early: the more Warp knows about how you work, the better every later answer is.
